The cm to inches formula

Converting to feet and inches
One foot equals 12 inches or 30.48 cm. To express 170 cm the American way: 66.93 inches ÷ 12 = 5 feet with 6.93 inches left over — so 5'8". The converter shows feet alongside inches so you never need the two-step math.
