Prompt Generator

Pick a scenario — writing, email, code review, decision analysis — fill in a few blanks, and get a structured prompt that actually works.

The gap between a useless AI answer and a great one is usually the prompt. Good prompts state four things: who the AI is, what exactly to do, what constraints apply, and what the output should look like. This generator turns those four elements into ready-to-paste prompts for common scenarios.

The four elements

Role: "You are a senior editor with 10 years of experience." Task: "Write 3 headline options for the following article." Constraints: "Under 60 characters, no clickbait, include the keyword." Output format: "Numbered list, one line each." State all four and the AI stops guessing what you meant.

After the template

Generated prompts are starting points. The upgrades that matter: paste real material instead of describing it, give one example of output you liked, and end with "If anything is unclear, ask me before answering." Iteration beats perfection — prompts are edited, not written.

Frequently asked questions

Do these prompts work in ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini?
Yes — the structure is universal. Role, task, constraints and format mean the same thing to every major assistant.
Why did the AI ignore one of my instructions?
Usually because there were too many, they conflicted, or the important one sat in the middle of a wall of text. Put hard requirements first or last, and limit yourself to five.
Is a longer prompt always better?
No — a focused prompt beats a bloated one. Every added rule is another thing the model can drop. Keep what changes the output.
