Job portals want JPG, platforms want PNG, modern sites prefer WebP. Drop an image, pick the target format and download — no uploads, no watermarks, no email required.
Choosing the right format
JPG: photos, smallest size, no transparency — the universal choice. PNG: transparency (logos, signatures, cutouts) and lossless quality, but large files. WebP: 25–35% smaller than JPG at the same quality, supported by all modern browsers — but some older government and exam portals still reject it.
What happens to transparency
PNG → JPG fills transparent areas with white (choose JPG only when that is fine). JPG → PNG gains nothing in quality and grows the file, since the JPG damage is already baked in. Any → WebP keeps transparency and shrinks the file — usually the best of both worlds.
Converting cannot add quality
Format conversion never improves the image: JPG artifacts are permanent once saved. "Upscale by converting" is a myth — you can only preserve what is there.
